Stayed in Whitewood because it was conveniently located between Kool Deadwood Nites and Central States Fair in Rapid City. Rates were fair. Quiet. Clean.

Little outdated- we had a box tv in the room- didn’t use it but I haven’t seen one in years. Staff was great - and bar was really nice. Their pizza is awesome

Definitely the most basic of basic
This was the most basic of basic hotels that hasn't been updated since the 70's. The beds and pillows are far past their useful life and the rooms have zero insulation for noise. Even with only a handful of rooms full the noise was crazy. You could hear everything from the people next door to us. Front desk clerk was very nice and kind. I get they are not going for 5 star but this was 1 star...if they spent a few hundred bucks and updated the bed, pillows and carpet, it would be amazing!
