Staff was friendly and helpful. The building was older but it was clean. The outdoor pool was closed the entirety of our stay but my children enjoyed the indoor pool. The indoor pool room was old, hot and humid and I didn’t like the aesthetic with the pipes being shown over our heads, dripping water and the overall gloominess of the pool room. Free breakfast or coffee wasn’t offered but the cafe was cute and the food was just okay. I would stay again but it wouldn’t be my first choice hotel.

The staff were really nice, but we had to change rooms a few times because they weren't clean. We stayed during Hurricane Milton and the rooms and hallways flooded, which was really annoying. I'm surprised they didn't know about the leak or, if they did, that they still charged us full price.

Nice 45 minute walk to the main st pier. We had an oceanfront balcony which was fantastic, and way cheaper than anything else around. Really nice staff too, highly recommend.

Tropical Winds was very clean and quiet, It had 2 elevators (both working) beds were comfortable. The reason we would not return is there was no comfortable place to sit only a most uncomfortable sofa ever made and there was a handiy little kitchen but no place to set anything, no kitchen table and no coffee table.

They called it a resort but, there's really isn't anything but a regular motel on the ocean woth a pool. Somerooms have small kitchens. But as a large reunion family that been going there for the last 10 yrs we will be looking forvsomething else next year
