For an older property, we found the room and building in good condition with emphasis on having a clean comfortable lobby, clean restrooms and guest rooms. LOVED that parking was plentiful and easily navigated for the first couple of nights. LOVED easy access to beach and the amazing oceanfront views from the balcony. Staff was a little off-putting at times, not the friendliest. NOT a fan of having ice on only two floors of a 10-floor facility. The "coffee bar" was a big disappointment. Twice we visited during the short morning hours and there were NO muffins out. Coffee is not too impressive either, but for the price we paid per night, it would be much more inviting to have at least a decent continental breakfast. Even if only a wider assortment of baked goods to go along with the coffee, it would be an improvement. I understand that rooms have nice kitchenettes, but when we're only visiting for 2 or 3 nights, we're not likely to bring in "groceries" to cook meals there, only to have leftovers to deal with. Anyway, we felt safe, pool was nice, beach access was great, hotel felt clean and nice for the most part. It just felt a little too "bare essentials" and "no frills" for us at $200 per night.
