Good location clean and good breakfast; the corridor in the floor we were in (2nd floor) had a strong smell of insecticide; the employee in the breakfast was not the friendliest but provided what we asked for; overall a good hotel
Could have been much better. The staff didn’t seem
There were inconsiderate people in my hallway and below my window until 2am. The management did nothing. They were so loud I bet the entire side of that hotel awake. Coffee was late without many amenities.
Rooms do not look like the photos. They are very outdated with torn carpet and loud air conditioner units. Reserved a suite, was given a single queen room, was able to change rooms, but front desk staff were not overly helpful or concerned.
When we arrived at 10:30 p.m. there were "residents" of the hotel who were in the parking lot right below our window playing loud music and grilling until 2:00 a.m. The next morning at 5:00 a.m. one of the party goers was going up and down the hall banging on doors telling the occupants to wake up. You could feel the springs coming up through the thin mattress and the place was just old and dirty. Glad this was just a quick overnight for us and not a long weekend or week-long vacation or we would have been looking elsewhere!
I booked this hotel through Expedia by mistake. I thought it was close to where I was but when I got the confirmation it was 2 hrs away. I lost my home in the hurricane and immediately tried to cancel my reservation but they said it was policy that they couldn’t cancel. So I was billed $147 for a room I never used. I’m not happy. They had zero compassion. Expedia was no help either. It was a nightmare talking to these people. They were hard to understand and the manager offered me $25 as a courtesy. That’s bull.
Room was dirty. The floors hadn’t even been swept. Stains on sheets. The baseboards and sinks were disgusting. If it had not been midnight when I arrived, I would not have stayed there.
