The oceanfront view was worthwhile on the 11th floor! I could hear the waves from bed and it felt like I was on a cruise with the view and buffet. The omlet bar, fruit selection and desserts were exceptional! Restaurant staff were very friendly. Expect to pay 25-39 per adult for the buffet, with kids meals about 40% less. As of 2025, beach access is a 5 plus minute walk. Although the walk is beautiful along a brick path, the storefronts near the beach access point have vulger t-shirts sayings that are not kid friendly. Moreover, the smell of what I think is Marijuana is moderate within all the stores. The pizza joint and arcade at the beach access were nice. I resent that I had to pay $30-40 a night for parking because i didnt know about it ahead of time. The pool was pleasant. Until closer beach access is restored, I will not rerurn with my impressionable children.

Very nice property along the beach. A lot of positives, but also some negatives. North tower was hard to find, better signage would help. The elevators have an unusually long wait times almost everytime I used them. The view I had from my room "sunset" view was a fancy name for "roof and sky" view of the inner city, clever marketing I would say. The room was clean however, and felt safe. I noticed there was no room service for my room, so perhaps that is something done by request, not sure. I did not get to use the pool, just walked around the beach area and the pier. Overall, I would come again. The price was very good.

Elevator broke down one elevator for 10,000 people got stuck in an elevator. The door to our hotel would not work housekeeping did not do a good job did not replenish anything that we used cannot find any ice for the ice bucket.!! Will not recommend a Hilton ever to anyone, this was the worst experience. This was a vacation. Nobody should get stuck in the elevator or have to wait in a long line for one elevator for thousands of people ridiculous!

The elevators 1 out of 4 worked our entire stay! Had to climb up 12 flights of stairs or literally wait 1 hr to get thru elevator line! The staff said this is an ongoing problem with even the staff elevators! Very long hike to get on beach even though your 100 yards from it. Seems as if a hurricane over a year ago damaged the steps and staff said instead of repairing them they just finished tearing them out

Unacceptable that during a conference with 1300 children attending that two elevators, which were questionable, were in operation. Elevator wait times were 10-20 minutes. Overall the staff were accommodating, especially valet parking. Specifically requested a king bed and received two queens

Let’s start with the elevators that were not working. Only 2 for a very busy memorial weekend. Then check in was very late. Also they will not clean your room unless you call in advance a day before from 8:00 am to 10:00 am. Overall experience was terrible and will not go back I travel often for work and was always between Marriott and Hilton, but after this experience I have to choose the Marriott for their efforts to give their customers a pleasant experience.

We checked into our room & upon entry noticed the bedsheets had wet spots so we reported it to the front desk. Then found a huge hairball on the bathroom floor, there was a dead cockroach in the drawer as well so we were concerned our room had not been cleaned properly. Elevators were a disaster! Most of them were out of service so it was always a hassle trying to move around the hotel from our room. I have pictures but this site is not letting me upload them for some reason. Will never stay at another hilton after this experience.

Several issues with our stay. NO BEACH ACCESS from the hotel property. Must walk nearly to the pier to reach the only set of stairs down to the beach. We were told a hurricane last year destroyed all of the stairs. Last year! NO BALCONIES on rooms at this hotel. Elevators were not working for the majority of our stay. Long lines just to go to your room, waited over 20 minutes several times. $25.00 "Resort Fee" as well as a $30.00 per night fee for parking, off site a block and a half away. This added an additional $300 to my bill. Will not be staying at ANY Hilton hotel in the future.

I wrote to the property and managing director. The elevators were not working and the staff advised it is an ongoing issue and management doesn't take this seriously. That management is just worried about their pockets. There is no consideration for the guests. There is so much more but I wrote to everyone. I want my money back.

Broken elevators and escalators. Alternate stairwell access was absolutely disgusting. Giant potholes in the self parking lot that charges $30/day. Restricted beach access due to “hurricane repairs” from last season. Overall, highly disappointed with this stay. The only positive was the experience with the staff at the front desk, valet and bell service.

Everything about this hotel sucked for the price paid . We stayed a less expensive better place 2 mins away… this Hilton charges you an extra at least $50 a night once you get there to supposedly use the pool pretty much . They call it a resort fee. It’s a rip off where do you pay for a crap carpet hotel on beach with no deck at all and they also charge to use the pool ? Not even motel 8 does that lol - they include no parking you pay $32 plus a day to park across the road (if you get a spot) or $42 for a valet service that blocks the ramp at all times … the elevators seemed unsafe and not working , everyone talked about it the way they shook and were ripped apart looking inside - no numbers worked properly pretty scary when you are 14th floor ! Carpets in rooms still ? No decks at all on ocean ??? Even a pool towel was extra charge lol … nothing was free .., construction all over … escalator didn’t work … not even free coffee or breakfast of any sort ( at least have Free lobby coffee if you want to rip ppl off by extra fees every single day without giving them any heads up) the staff were very friendly and I think they understood we were overcharged and felt sorry for us but couldn’t do anything .., one time in day we waited at elevators for over 15 mins and a group of 20 ppl and had to walk away as we wanted to drop off shopping bags to go back out to meet ppl for dinner but couldn’t get sn elevator to get to room ,so ridiculous I’ll never stay at a Hilton again. The hotel was really run down. We had been there for 2 days and did not received housekeeping services, in the third day we requested housekeeping multiple time but never received it. We had to call multiple time to at least get clean towels. The elevators kept breaking down and would take forever to go up or down. The staff for the most part were nice except for one night clerk that was very rude when we were trying to get clean towels after not getting housekeeping services. Overall it was the worst stay at a Hilton hotel

We are so disappointed at the hotel. They are not even a Hilton they should removed the name from it. The place was absolutely a nightmare. DO NO STAY HERE!!! Worst place in Daytona. Everything is broken and dirty. I don’t usually do reviews but I feel that we should let others know how bad this place is so they don’t go through the nightmare my family just went through.

Property overall was fine and clean, just a few improvements needed. Elevators were terrible. In the south tower, on a holiday weekend, 2 out of 4 were working and full all the time. Took a half hour at one point to get to the lobby from the 15th floor. The stairs for beach access in front of the hotel need to be built and open. It is a fairly far walk to get down to the beach. The 5th floor pool in the north tower has a metal border to it that could burn someone pretty badly, so that didn't make much sense. And overall, rooms could be updated. Otherwise, staff was great and we still had a great time.

It was truly terrible from checking in, getting to my suite, checking out and the additional fees. There was only one elevator working for the north tower, was charged almost 200.00 for self parking which is not even on the property. Not enough staff to assist with checking in or out. Let’s just say that was my first time and last time with Hilton
