The pictures online are what the hotel looked like before the hurricane and to pay the price we did for how the hotel and grounds looked was insane. The room was musty, dirty mildew and mold. Walls damaged, the kitchen was not equipped for us to cook with 1 fork and spoon, the pots and pans were disgusting. The pool was filthy. We definitely will not be staying here again.

Our room was absolutely amazing. The views from the ormand beach suite cannot beat, beds and pillows were comfortable.Water was super hot with great pressure. Kitchen was small but sufficient.the balcony was huge!!!

First night walked into room. Door was open. Lock didn’t work on door. No remote for tv. They brought us one. 3 of 4 nights very,very nosey neighbors. Couldn’t sleep. Asked for a 3 am wake up call no one called. Never swept the floor in our room. Went for juice in morning. Lady Virgina said don’t put cups on counter and she did. I left. This place could very nice if the doors were fixed you got your 3 am wake up call. Other staff members were very nice.

Very old and deteriorating

Very old, everything was deteriorating, peeling paint, missing tiles, elevator dirty, although the room overall was obviously cleaned but because of how dingy everything was, I felt very dirty and disgusted. Extremely disappointing. I won’t be returning.

Great Ocean Views and Bad News

The hotel was probably nice in the 1960s but it is in very poor shape. The maintenance issues there are too many to count. The people were friendly and the ocean views were spectacular, but the property is really rough. The elevator in the north tower makes noises as it bangs against mysterious objects in the elevator shaft. It’s a thrill ride you’d rather not take because it feels so unsafe. I hope they invest in the property to make it nice again.
