It was a very unique setting in amongst homes along the inlet waters of New Smryna. We booked through Expedia and we were told by the owner we had booked an “introductory room”. I think this was his way of saying the smallest. Anyway, the sink didn’t drain well. The bathroom was so small you had zero room to set anything on the way of personal hygiene items. We also did not like the fact that it was dog friendly. We could hear one barking during the night and if we weren’t so tired, neither of us would have slept. The coffee in the room was nice but no way to make a cup down stairs so inconvenient if you didn’t want water from the sink. Breakfast was nice and delivered on time. The courtyard looked lovely but it rained during our stay there. The owners said Inn.’s atmosphere is very friendly but because of Covid everyone had to have breakfast in their rooms. For the rate I wish I had booked two nights in St. Augustine. Downtown New Smyrna is quaint and beautiful and the Garlic and the CorkScrew were both fabulous to eat in. Lastly the pics tamale it look nicer than it is. The bed was not comfortable because of the plastic mattress pad I could feel through the thin sheets.
