The check in was great. The woman at the front desk was incredibly pleasent. The rooms were clean and maintained. The only thing that was negative was the people around not being respectful about slamming doors at 1 am till 2 am.

The hotel looked great online but we were very disappointed during our stay. First off the hotel lacked someone at the front and I had to basically yell HELLO! until someone apeared and that was just when everything started. One of the hotel elavators is not working (which was also not that big of a problem) Our room: First: the room did not lock/ you can walk into the room without a key card (it was not a feature/option of the room) Second: the room came with no towels and we had to request some to the front desk right after we had walked into the room. Third: there was a whole wall (with the TV and the Fridge) that had no power. The fridge which we needed was not working so we resorted to ice from the ice machine to keep our things cool. No TV too but that can be overlooked. Fourth: one person in our party needed to work on the check out day so we requested a late checkout 2:30pm. The front desk told me that this would be fine and we could have our late checkout untill 3pm so we were satisfied with some of the other isses. But we were fools to be. Not ever 10 minutes after we were told we could have the latter check out three people came to our room and ordered us to leave the room within the next 15 minutes. Then since they had talked to another guests staying with us I thought it could have possibly been a mistake. I went back to the front desk and was gaslit by the concierge about what he had just told me less tha an hour ago. Other guests also seemed unhappy.

The reception staff was friendly and helpful. I notified them in the morning that the toilet wouldn’t flush, the door security latch was falling off the wall. I didn’t tell them that one pillow case was torn before we settled in the room. The room sliding door lock to the pool access not very reassuring. I didn’t charge anything to my room, but someone charged $1.00 to my credit card. Why? Do they do this to everyone? Had to go to 3rd floor to get ice even though I was on the first floor.

Needs ventilation fans in bathroom. Restaurant was ridiculous. On advertising it mentions a restaurant. When we got there, it only offered breakfast and it was closed for the remainder of the day. The hotel was under reconstruction. The Carpeting in the Hallways was nasty. They needed to be cleaned. I believe you should have closed for the renovations. Instead of trying to make money while you are still doing the work. Please train staff members that when they answer the phones to always remain professional when speaking to guests that are staying there. I had a woman make inappropriate comments about ass-u-me anything. I will not pick this hotel again. Happy New Year !!

Washed a small piece of clothing and hung in the shower to dry. Let it hang for a day and when I took it off the shower bar, there was a ROACH! Also, a palmetto bug,dead, was outside room for our stay. The phone didn't work. All noted to front desk. Except this ... one morning after watching the sunrise, a woman walking around the pool area (not sure she was a guest) fell flat on her face. Offered to assist. She said she was fine. And, noticed she had what looked like a previously scared her knees.

Check in was slow. There was a line out the door. The process seemed to be slow because the two employees chatted unnecessarily to one another and they had to leave the desk to photocopy drivers licenses. A scanner would probably enhance this process. At check in we were given free drink tickets to an onsite bar and restaurant. We went down to check it out and the staff was unidentifiable. We were never greeted, seated and never could figure out who worked there to place an order. We went off site to one of the 50 pizza places on the strip. There isn’t much else to choose from aside from an ihop. The room was clean but fridge leaked water all over the floor in the night. The patio led out to the pool deck and did not offer any privacy. The pool deck and exterior are clearly weather beaten. The wonderful rating this place has is an overstatement. Average at best is more appropriate.
