A good hotel with everything you need. A continental breakfast is included which is a bonus. Staff is always polite and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

Quiet neighborhood hotel
Comfortable and quiet, in a location close to restaurants, grocery stores and shops. We found the area around the hotel to be a little run down, but still safe to walk.

Great place to stay
We really enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was great especially the coffee. The bed was comfortable and the room a good size. It’s just a short walk to the centre of Darwin. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

Location was excellent, just a short walk to free bus services and shops, cafes. In our room the hair dryer was very old with littke power and awkward to use.

We enjoyed our stay at The Argus. Location was within reasonable walking distance (about 15-20 minutes) of the city centre and some great eateries. Continental breakfast provisions were great. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

On my first night, there was a fire evacuation emergency. It was about 11.30 pm. I started to prepare to evacuate as the alarm continued. I thought about staying out on the balcony as I was on the sixth floor. Decided to head down the fire escape after seeing so many people outside anxiously waiting news from the fire brigade who had just arrived. No fire. All clear given to return to hotel.

Great hotel for the money. It was 5 minutes from the downtown and very much off the main traffic areas. Big room with balcony and beautiful sunsets.
