We have been here several times. The owners are lovely. We went there this past Memorial Day weekend for an evening. The place is clean, quiet and relaxing.

Newly renovated very roomy and clean room. Staff was friendly and helpful. Parking very accessible from room. Being newly renovated I did find the toilet in the bathroom was loose and rocked slightly but I was able to tighten the nuts on the hold down bolts. I informed the front office and we had no other issues

This property was a little hidden gem in the quaint town of New Milford. It was the perfect place to relax. The outside doesn't look like much but, the rooms we were given had been completely renovated. Best part was the big picturesque window that looked out to a beautiful green space and river.

Cold water

The room was well appointed, had the king suite, bedding was excellent and there was even maid service during the day while I was out. But there was the shower water controls, cold was hot and hot was cold. I had to be patient and figure this out, otherwise it would have been a cold shower but that wasn’t happening. They need to look into that. Otherwise quite and comfortable, I would stay again.

Well worth the money.

I have stayed at this hotel many times and they are always more than accomadating. I spread the hotel by word of mouth and i would say about 5 different friends add this place to thier definate stays anytime we are going fishing or stopping by elephants trunk flea market in Connecticut.

There is no proper sound proofing between floors if you are staying in the 2 story portions. We heard every footstep and voice ALL night of those above us all night. Otherwise, a good location for us to downtown New Milford and they accommodated an early check in.

The room was very nice. This is an old motel that is clearly being updated and they haven't gotten to the outside yet. Im sure it will be really nice when they do. It was a short drive to several surrounding towns. Lots of restaurants in the area and several delivery options. Great, economical choice as a home base if you need a place in the area (we were attending a multi-day conference).
