The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The room was okay, a bit outdated, the bed was really hard and firm. I don’t think the carpet was vacuumed since I found a fingernail in the corner. But the location of the inn was perfect close to beaches and parks.

Property can use an update pretty old furniture, lots of wear and tear on everything. It is a pet friendly Hotel, but animal hair is too excessive on furniture and floor. Animal hair was on my clothes and you could hear dogs barking in the rooms. Overall hotel is in a very great location near shops and restaurants. Staff was ok.

Nice Hotel!
Stayed here for a couple's New Year's Eve retreat for the holiday. It's a nice property very close to the Marina and all the shops and Restaurants are within walking distance. The Hotels was clean. Staff was friendly. Parking is an additional fee but not as bad as some places. Looks like nearly all the rooms have a balcony equipped with a couple of chairs. Biggest advantage of this Dana Point Marina Inn, the location and price!

This is a nice enough place for the money and well-located. A minor issue: if you want to take a bath, bring a stopper because there isn’t one.
