Toilet was broke and kept running all night, the refrigerator kept shaking and making a loud noise every two hours, had no mirror in the room, room service never came at the later time as requested, was charged double. Will never book again

Convenient Location

I stay here twice a year when I come to Dallas. It is an older hotel that is a bit run down, but it is very convenient and the staff is nice. They also do a great job keeping everything clean. There are many dining options nearby and the DART is 2 blocks away. My only complaint is that the air conditioner could have worked better. Other than that I will continue to book here.

Magnolia Charm

We had a great experience at the Magnolia hotel. We read some reviews prior to booking and a few people mentioned the homeless in the area which is true but to be expected of a downtown city in my opinion. We thought the room was updated and in great condition, sure the carpet looks a little old, but not a concern by any means. You stay at a hotel like the Magnolia for the character and charm. We had a great overall experience with friendly staff.

I liked the luxury designing of the hotel very antique and classy. I didn't like the noise , for it to be a big hotel it didnt have a pool . They charge you fees that haven't even been explained to you and want you to pay an extra $100 for valet parking . Feel like yours being rushed out your own vehicle, because there isn't no parking . Especially too crowded. It wouldn't be something I stay in again.

What was reported on Expedia appeared to be a nice hotel and I trusted the site. This was a last minute choice. The room was musty. No parking at the hotel. The area downtown was horrible. The room very old and small.

Cockroach in the lobby when we walked in... Didn't clean the room daily or leave enough soap out for our stay and the day they did they showed up at 7:30am waking us up.... I wouldn't stay here again
