Expedia, why do you list this type of properties on your site? I reserved this hotel with the agreement to pay at the property; however, my reservation was cancelled right before I arrived at the hotel. I flew into Dallas from California and arrived to Dallas around 11 pm, tired to check in and the front desk associate told me that my reservation was canceled. The front desk associate gave me an incomplete explanation of why my reservation was cancelled. Even worse, the front desk was utterly unprofessional, made several jokes and remarks about how I looked, and prioritized other customers over helping me find a room. While I was waiting for the front desk staff to resolve this issue and find me a room, the front desk staff decided to actively engage in flirtatious conversation with two women who did not appear to be guests or hotel workers. Rather, they appeared to be looking for some type of late-night work or clientele. I am not sure, but that was my impression. Bottom line is that I kept being deprioritized and set aside by front desk. I am extremely disappointed about this experience. I ended up reserving a hotel next door.
