Pleased in Dallas

We stay in Dallas once a month to visit family. This was our first time to stay at Hyatt Place and it won’t be our last. The condition of the property was very nice. The staff was helpful and professional. The included breakfast was great and the serving area was modern, clean, and comfortable. Our room was nicely furnished and well designed. The shower/restroom area was a little small but clean and functional. The parking lot and entry was well lit. We were surprisingly impressed. Location is very convenient as well.

The property is right underneath the highway, but it is not easy to get on it. A big shopping center not far across the street from the property, but you have to make numerous turns to get to it.

Hotel needs some updates. Doors need replacing and pool was murky. Make sure and put the do not disturb sign on if you want sleep as the maids start their rounds at 8 a.m. at check in both rooms that we reserved were not available and had to get different rooms.
