Water leak and wet rug
We've stayed here over a dozen times over the past few years and this was our first negative experience at this hotel. It's a convenient and nice hotel that we typically enjoy. Upon getting into our room (217) we noted a slight odor but did not find the source until after settling in the for the night when we noticed in bare feet that the rug was wet. There appears to be a leak from the HVAC system in the room that had soaked the rug and made some of the floor tiles near the window squishy. Underneath the rug it was apparent that the rug had been wet for an extended time and that there was mold under the rug - which is what the smell could be attributed to. Looking more closely we did note a piece of broken glass on the floor - but do not believe the glass to be associated with the moisture problem due to the evidence of extended moisture exposure on the underside of the rug. We alerted the front desk to the issue, and they stated that they would have maintenance check into this issue. If we do decide to stay at this location again - we will be doing a thorough check on the status of the room prior to unpacking and settling in.

This is a great hotel. I have stayed here many times and I prefer it compared to others hotels in the area. The only minor issue I have is with the water pressure in the showers. It needs to be upgraded or something. I have stayed at other IHG hotels and they have great water pressure. Other than that everything about the hotel is prefect for my needs.
