Lovely front desk worker!
We originally were put in room 1613 and upon arriving we found that the AC wasn’t working. We kind of decided to try to put up with it (we were staying Monday - Saturday) we ended up letting the front desk know (Tommy was amazing!) on Thursday since by that time they had sent maintenance twice with no results. Tommy at front desk was extremely understanding and kind and even gave us a new room this time with working AC!

Where to start? Bathroom is so small it is claustrophobic. No fan in the bathroom so steam engulfs the room when showering. The mold on the ceiling tells the story! Bed is hard, pillows too high. Coffee machine didn’t work. Even though we were on the 18th floor, the outside sounds were like we were on the ground floor. Boys and their toys were screeching around the streets way into the early morning hours. Not a great stay!

Solis stay and very good checkin service.
Good stay. Easy check in. Parking convenient to hotel ingress. Halls were not as clean as they should be. Rooms were clean but bathrooms were tiny and partially updated.

Poor Customer Service.
My room had no AC. This was a problem for others as well. All on the same floor. Come on people do better. We all paid money for a comfortable nights sleep and instead it’s Texas and we were all hot. Didn’t even offer to compensate or discount the rooms. Had to sleep with the balcony sliding door open.

I stayed at the Crowne Plaza in Downtown Dallas recently for three nights. Unfortunately, the air conditioning wasn’t working in my first room or my second, and it stopped working in my third room. So I was in four different rooms for a 3-night stay. That was very inconvenient, but the rest of my stay was pretty good: friendly staff, clean beds. The bathrooms were fine, but you can see the fixtures need to be replaced. The place is old but still a good option because of its location.
