Looking for a quite get away and instead had 5 kids in room above us. Breakfast was gross. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Key to room kept demagnetizing so had to go back to lobby to get it fixed.

Best Western Plus Rockwall, TX

This Best Western Plus is an older hotel. The bathroom is small. This wasn’t what I was expecting going by other BW Pluses we’ve stayed in. But the room was clean. The bed was comfortable and the room had ample space. The shampoo, body wash and conditioner were all filled. We’ve experienced this to be forgotten sometimes. The front desk staff was helpful and friendly.

This was my first time staying at this hotel. The door key did not work, the toilet did not work. There was hair all over the bathroom floor. The location is very noisy, so sleep was not great but the beds were fairly comfortable. The breakfast bar only had stale food (other than the hot items) and the waffles had a weird, sour taste. It was not the worst experience, but it was not the Best (Western) we usually have.

Unsatisfactory

Sadly, this time our stay was not as nice as last year. Both rooms left a lot to be desired for cleanliness. We found hair in the bathroom and the floors were sticky. The breakfast bar was filled with stale items and the pancake dough seemed past its expiration date, it tasted sour. On the second day, the lady in the breakfast room was kind enough to give us bagels from the freezer since the other ones could have been used as hockey pucks. It was a huge difference to our great stay from the previous year.
