Not a bad place to stay, but there were some cosmetic and functional issues. Bathroom door was hard to open all the way. It got hung up on the floor. Bathroom faucet was falling apart. TV quite working for some reason, but was fine in the morning. The grounds around the hotel were a mess. A lot of garbage, etc. but Dalhart is a pretty windy place so it’s probably difficult to keep clean. Staff was friendly.

Breakfast good but cheap plates and I hate cheap plastic flatware!!! Time to go back to redo plates and utensils. Stop wasting plastic and filling the landfills!!!

The breakfast was very average. No black tea, only decaf or herbal. The hot water container had previously been filled with coffee so not good for tea. The apples were old and mushy.

Property and staff were all amazing! The exterior was full of dead birds so it wasn’t safe for dogs. The area isn’t as safe as we would have liked but didn’t not experience any problems. Again the staff and facility were perfect for an over night road trip stay!
