It is a 5 star resort the Level rooms are so nice, HOWEVER, it's all been refurbished the main infinity pool was a work site and the front restaurant and other buildings were still worksites so it felt abandoned and under construction which was disappointing. The other restaurant and pool were nice. As part of the Level you get free lounge and afternoon tea and cocktails which is a fab touch but I was happy to leave the place after 4 nights. Wouldn't stay again. The staff were super nice and tried really hard to make up for it! honestly stay at the Hyatt instead it's much nicer, or NuWorld near Hoi An because that's the best part of the area. or if desperate check that the Melia isn't still a deserted building site.

Melia resort is good clean excellent ambience and exceptional servuce staff. Only negative this is far from danang city centre hence need to arrange your own transport and there is no shuttle bus to city from hotel.

We loved our stay at Melia DaNang. As it is the off season there was a bit of maintenance required around the place but was still kept very clean. We were very impressed with the staff all very helpful and happy to be at work, in particular the Bar supervisor Viet, Gnan from the restaurant and An from customer service were all extremely friendly, helpful and really wanted to serve and learn from us. A massive thank you to Nhung and the team for making our stay at Melia beach resort one we will never forget. The resort is absolutely beautiful with clean modern rooms, multiple pools including 2 Infinite pools, Yhi Spa centre; the best I have been to in my whole time in Vietnam and the buffet breakfast was truly delicious and of the best I have experienced. Thank you Chef Tai for the amazing breakfast every morning!
