The hotel is cute, has cute updated decor, but some of the bones (i.e.carpet, fixtures) are old. The lady who checked us in was friendly and quickly got us another room when we had a problem. I always check beds and bathrooms when checking in any hotel/airbnb for cleanliness. When I pulled back the comforter to check the sheets, I found lots of hair all over the fitted sheet and the sheet was wrinkled. Obviously hadn’t been changed. I immediately let the receptionist know and she was quick to message the owner while we waited. This was about 9:40pm. The owner responded with wanting to know how long ago we had checked in, which made me immediately anxious about how they would handle this. However, we did get another room assigned and other than the hassle of getting our stuff moved when we were tired after driving 9 hours. The new room was clean. The bed was a cheaper foam and not the worst, but definitely could be better. All in all it was, after getting things taken care of, ok but probably wouldn’t stay there again.

Lovely property in Custer about one mile north of towns center off 385north with many great amenities. Pool great! Hot tub very nice but not really hot as I like it at 103* but more like 100*. Pickleball, games,games and more games. Great place to unwind, hang out or rest up for adventures taken or near. Clean and super friendly and nice. Cookies and milk! You’ll not be disappointed.

The level of customer service is wonderful! Something as simple as "cookie time" and complimentary laundry shows a unique perspective to make customers feel valued. The room was clean with good furnishings. The kids loved the pool while i enjoyed the hottub. The thing you'll notice is it has a whimsical feel that sets them appart from other hotels. We would definitely stay there again!

Our stay here was wonderful. We only spent one night on our way through SD- and were bummed we didn’t have longer! They have games to bring to your room, a beautiful pool area and many outdoor activities, that we unfortunately couldn’t use because it was raining. They delivered cookies at bedtime which made the stay so special and memorable. The staff were also very kind and helpful. Made sure we were as comfortable as possible and had great recommendations on places to go. Will definitely come back to stay longer!

The room was very nice. When you step into your room the lights were on and there was easy listening music playing on the tv. It gave it a homey feeling. The Bed was alittle uncomfortable.
