Our stay at Casa Cruz Verde was amazing! It’s a small hotel run by father and son. We arrived early morning and they managed to check in us as early as possible. I didn’t feel well and asked if they have a lemon, they didn’t have it but went to store and bought it for me. The room is renovated, clean, quiet and has everything you need: hot water, heater, set of warm blankets etc. They offer fresh homemade breakfast beautifully served. The stay exceeded all expectations and I couldn’t wish more. Thank you Jose and Johan for being welcoming to us.

Great stay!
I only stayed for one night, but I have no complaints at all. One of the family member will welcome you and explain how to use heater and TV, as well as light in bathroom that has a energy conservation setting which activates the light to turn on, as well as a setting for it to stay on permanently, they have hot water and bed is very comfy. Rooms have a small safety deposit box, you can also heat water in your room to have some tea and if you're going on an early morning tour before 7am they will kindly prepare a breakfast bag for you to take with you. The property is located about 3-4 blocks away from the main square and Ave. Del Sol.

The owners/staff were SO very helpful, willing to help us with everything. Room was large, updated and so clean! Really appreciated that as well as the wonderful breakfast. It is a bit tricky to find, one small sign on a door that leads into a courtyard.

Great location, only 5 minutes walking to Plaza de Armas or 2 minutes to the Mercardo Central. The hotel offers fantastic freshly made breakfast. In addition, this hotel is family owned and they are very welcoming and helpful, it felt like we were staying with family away from home.

What an amazing surprise this place was! Perfect location in the historic centre but tucked away in a quiet courtyard made for the ideal stay. The king bed and pillows were incredible, sheets were high quality, towels were plush, shower was amazing and the place was immaculately clean. Breakfast was fresh and delicious with many options. Staff were attentive and extremely polite. Would definitely book here again and would encourage others to do the same.

Very nice stay. The staff, that is, the family was attentive to our every need. They called us taxis, fed us breakfast at our leisure each morning, provide coca tea and leaves to help acclimate to Cusco's high altitude. King bed very comfy. Shower good. View so-so. Room, perfect size for our needs. The hotel is walking distance to all of the downtown or nearby historical structure and shopping, including two blocks for the huge and historical San Pedro Market (don't miss it!). Plenty choices of eating places, money changing, cafe's. Highly recommend.

We stayed here for a few days on our trip to Cusco and it was a perfect base to explore the city. The owners made the stay especially great with help setting up tours, taxi's, and just being so kind with anything we needed. The room had everything we needed. While smaller and simple, it was a great deal for the price.

The location is very close to the main square and has a lot of dining/shopping options nearby. It’s a family business who serves the guests well. They also serve very delicious & healthy breakfast. They only suggestion for improvement is to put the name of the property clearly on the main door so tour operators/taxi drivers can easily find the place.

We had a great stay at Casa Cruz Verde. Everyone we met in the family-run hotel was amazingly friendly and provided great service. They stayed up late for our check-in (providing coca tea upon arrival), and got up early to open the door for us when we headed out on an activity. The room was clean and modern, and larger than expected based on the photos! Bed was very comfortable and the room has a good shower. Breakfast was delicious (best scrambled eggs we’ve had in Peru). The street that the hotel is on is quite noisy and didn’t always feel safe, but the hotel is tucked away in a courtyard so it’s both quiet and safely locked (multiple locked doors/gates). Taxis were organized both when we arrived and left. All-around fantastic experience and we would recommend it to anyone staying in Cusco.

We loved the hospitality of Jose and Johann during our stay. Rooms were clean, location is quiet and off of the street. Fantastic customer service and good location for walking around Cusco. They helped us with airport transfers and held our bags after check out. We stayed in many places in Peru during our vacation and this was by far our favorite! Thank you Jose and Johann!
