We always enjoy this place. The staff members are very helpful. Even though it is an older hotel, it is always clean and comfortable. We love the outdoor area with swings located next to the stream. It is an additional highlight.

I learned that you cannot find out what the cancellation policy is until you place your reservation. We were attending a funeral and snow was being predicted. We might have to cancel a reservation if the weather was bad. We wouldn't know our options unless we made a reservation. Funeral discounts are available only when you make your reservation in person. The website encourages making the reservation on-line. "Only 2 rooms left". We did place our reservation online, no discount at a time when this trip was not a planned. Shoddy business practice. The accommodations were fine. But why would I support shoddy business practices?

Fine for One Night, Needs Major Updating
The staff was friendly. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The entire property is very dated and could use a lot of updating. The hall carpets were dingy and needed vacuuming. The mini refrigerator in the room wasn't cold. The pool and hot tub were closed for repair/renovation during our stay. I felt safe and it was pretty quiet. It was fine for my one night stay to visit with family.
