This has been my favorite local hotel since it was built a few years ago. I live in Crown Point, but I used to come here to work on my dissertation because it is new and quiet. This is my second year in a row doing my solo New Year Eve event here. I meditate, do yoga, make a vision board, etc. I am able to do all of that, even on NYE, because the property is quiet and safe. It is also clean, neat, and modern, which I enjoy. They did give me a King room instead of the Queen double I booked because they admitted that the Queen room smelled a bit because a long term person had just left. I didn't know people lived there sometimes, which is usually not a great sign for a hotel. But, at least they were honest. I appreciate that. I will be back next year for NYE and maybe another day if I need a quiet place to get away from my crew at home! Momcations should always be a thing!

the room remained at 78 degrees the entire time we were there, staff told us they had issues with the thermostats in the room but nothing was done, we used the sink in the bathroom one time and it was clogged the entire time we were there

Noon check out.
The only complaint that I have is if check out time is noon, then housekeeping shouldn’t knock on the door at 11AM. They should wait until noon. I don’t wanna be bothered until check out time. Some people sleep late. They should know if someone has checked out or not from the front desk. Obviously if I didn’t check out yet, then they can’t clean the room yet.

Great location in Crown Point, Indiana and brand new. The staff was very accommodating and professional. The shower was large, equipped and had a handle bar which I thought was wise. Bathtubs have become more challenging as I've gotten older. We had 2 queen size beds which were incredibly comfortable and the room was quiet. We did experience a cold spell in Crown Point and it was somewhat cold in the hotel.

The staff were incredibly friendly and hospitable. The continental breakfast offered a great variety of foods. The hotel was clean and well maintained. I loved the shower. Only complaint I have, and it might have just been a defect in my room, but the bathroom had no exhaust fan so after showers the entire room became incredibly humid and uncomfortable for awhile.
