The Baker Hotel is very nice and modern. I have now stayed there twice, and will again. Cranbrook downtown is not that great, and there aren't a lot of good restaurants nearby, or even in Cranbrook. There is a great used book store only a few doors away. Don't stay at the Baker if you can't carry luggage up a flight or two of stairs

The Baker Hotel was awesome and Jim at the front desk was a gem! So helpful and kind! Gave us lots of ideas and suggestions for places to go and eat. The entire staff was exceptional! Will definitely stay here again, great place to stay and explore the nearby areas, hot springs, lakes and towns. However, Cranbrook literally shuts down for Labor Day so very limited places to eat but thankfully Jim alerted us to this so we had a plan.

The building is an historical hotel. Uniquely decorated rooms, to a high standard. Very clean, with amazing staff. Situated centrally Downtown. We will definitely be staying here again.

Historic experience with new age charm. The entry has maintained the old 1923 look with the old cash register, one of the old wood stoves and unit mailboxes. The units have been extensively renovated. The bathrooms are stunning.

Jim at the front desk made our Cranbrook weekend memorable! Hotel was in a fantastic location for our needs, super friendly staff and excellent dining immediately around the hotel. Hotel is older but well looked after, beds were very comfy and the customer service was above excellent. Highly recommend :-)
