I really enjoyed my stay at the Intercontinental Presidente in Cozumel. Amazing beach with a reef that was as active as others around the island. The food onsite was stellar and the access to town was quick. My room was spacious and very comfortable. Wish I never left!

Excellent resort
I was extremely impressed and satisfied with this beautiful resort. After reading several reviews I was a little nervous however, I was extremely happy with the service and condition of the facility. We had a ground level beach access room whick I highly recommend for the convenience of going back and forth to the room. We enjoyed the patio and had no issues with wet cushions or condensation on the windows obstructing our view. The room was spacious and bathroom was in excellent condition. Complimentary coffee, water and soda in the room was nice. Breakfasts were delicious! We dined for lunch at Le Cap pool side or Caribeno and both were very good. We ate dinners in Cozumel at some recommended places. Getting a taxi was extremely easy. Kids borrowed requests and balls for the tennis court daily and a football to play at the beach. Snorkeling off the beach was so easy and amazing! We would love to come back. If I had to pick one thing to improve I’d say the coffee is a little weak but I’d recommend this resort to anyone.

Beautiful property with the best concierge service. Great on site snorkelling with a beautiful pool. Quick taxi ride into town. We had some issues with cleanliness in our room but after informing management, the issue was dealt with and we were sufficiently compensated for the hassle. Would definitely come here again.

Old but very well maintained property. Quiet and clean with the right amenities. The only issue is its proximity to the a small port (next door) and not very far from where the cruise ships are docked. The water was a little blurry every time we went snorkeling.

My recent stay at the InterContinental Presidente Cancun Resort was overall a fantastic experience, largely due to the incredible service provided by Paola and the concierge team. Paola went above and beyond to ensure my stay was seamless, and her attentiveness truly set the tone for my visit. The food was excellent, and the room was comfortable and well-appointed. However, I would recommend the addition of blackout shades to allow guests the option of sleeping in a bit more comfortably. I did go scuba diving during my stay and opted to hire a private master diver. Unfortunately, this part of my trip was underwhelming. My diver, Eric, wasn’t bad per se, but he could have been far more attentive. It often felt like he was diving for his own enjoyment rather than focusing on creating an engaging and educational experience for me as his guest. I noticed other private dive masters who were far more involved and attentive, and I wish I had experienced that same level of care. In the future, I’ll be sure to ask more questions about who my dive master will be. It was pretty unnerving to constantly have to look around to locate him underwater, as he wasn’t consistently following me or paying close attention. It made me nervous, and while there might have been times when he was watching, it certainly didn’t feel that way. This is an area of opportunity for improvement, and I hope it’s addressed for future guests.

We have stayed here several times. People who work here are really nice and go out of their way to make sure our stay is great. At the front desk, Christina, was really helpful. At the restaurant, Yazmin was always there to greed with a huge smile making sure her people take care of things to perfection. Last but our favorite place has always been the ikal spa facility. Without a doubt, Sandra and her crew there are among the best we have seen traveling internationally. Thank you! Keep things great.

Loved it for diving, snorkeling and ocean activities. Not walkable to town which is a great thing but plan to pay taxis. Loved the gym. Great for families and awesome swim beach area for little ones or if you don’t know how to swim. Bring flat shoes, lots of walking on the property from room to amenities.
