Birthday trip

I had requested a special room during booking for my daughter’s birthday. When we arrived for check-in I mentioned it to Cory about my online request to see if it was an option he checked and was nice enough to put us in an accommodating room. We were on 17th floor over looking Cincinnati. The room was nice the view amazing. My daughter played in the pool for hours with other kids. An attendant came several times to make sure clean towels were stocked for pool area. Everyone was nice. Would definitely stay here again.

Was checked into the wrong room that had someone else’s stuff in it. Had to wait until that was fixed then checked into another room the card wouldn’t work. Then the sink wouldn’t drain. Maintenance never came to fix it just took the stopper out. Went to locate an ice machine and vending. Front desk woman was asking the younger lady at the front desk if she had a problem and was being so mean to her. Then the same older front desk lady was yelling at a guest who was upset the vending machine was empty. I asked that same lady when she got done being rude to the guest where the ice machine was and if there were vending on any other floor. She named off like 4 floors with vending machines for drinks. I went to all of them but never found any vending machines. She had even listed my floor as one of them however I opened every door that wasn’t a hotel room and no vending machines. Then the cops were downstairs asking if we were on the 12th floor I said no and they said oh you should be okay then. My friend was with me said the older front desk lady was really rude to her as well. The heat unit in our room had the filters sticking out and was not very clean, the light fixture was broken and taped together, and was filthy. The pool is not heated or maybe the heating doesn’t work. The bedding had yellow stains on it when we got there in several spots. The night stand by the bed was slated so if you put anything on it, it just slides off. The younger lady that checked us in was nice!

I stayed over night here and was highly disappointed the bed sheets had a stain on it the handicap bar fell not once but three times I have a bruise on my arm the pool was freezing they had ice cold water running None of the pop machines worked I was highly dissatisfied and will not be staying ever again

Beautiful sights of hills, Ohio River, Cincinnati skyline and a bridge connecting Ohio (Cincinnati) to Kentucky . So, great location for a hotel. The very down side of this: Terrible, horrible noise (for someone like me who is sensitive to sound) coming from a busy interstate bridge, 24/7. I had to take a sedative to sleep. Also bathtub needs non-slip bath mat. This truly should be standard across the board, as the risk of falling is real, and not only for the elderly

It was a very nice stay, the air conditioning in the room was very loud. The hotel seemed to be in the middle of repairs? It also was very confusing during check in due to not being given very many details about our stay. I also called multiple times to the front desk to let them know of my late check in, but I was unable to reach anyone. The front desk seemed to never be at the desk when I would have questions about the hotel.

Overall, it was a good experience. I do recommend that you have the television more centered to the bed and you have your housekeeping staff aware of which rooms are vacant and which ones aren’t. My girlfriend and I were in our room and a housekeeper just walked right into our room. Luckily, we were fully clothed.
