Staffing was obviously a problem, the desk person was great but was doing what appeared to me to being three jobs (check-in, food service and maintenance/cleanup). I imagine that staff had called off or perhaps quit and no one was available to come in to assist. It is my opinion that staff is being limited due to cost/expenses. I must say the person at the front desk saved the day. Hope he is recognized for going above and beyond.

It was ok. One of the beds in our room was made with no sheets on it. My son had to sleep on top of the comforter because it was late when we arrived. Floors needed to be vacuumed, hair was on the bathroom floor, bathroom glass was durty, something was all over the bathroom door. We were exhausted and slept on top of the comforters with our on pillows and blankets.

The receptionist was hollering on the phone to someone when I walked in about the rooms needing to be cleaned. She was unfriendly and the strong odor of smoke as soon as you enter the building. The floors were trashed and had stains on them. The bathroom unclean. The room was heavy smoked out which I’m allergic to smoke. The room had hand prints on the wall and bed. No tape on the toilet for sanitary purposes. The room was dingy and unkept. Bed wasn’t fitted with sheets. My skin was crawling.

Clean and comfortable

The hotel was clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good they had waffles, biscuit and gravy. It does end at 9 a lot of places stop at 10 on the weekend but ctacker barrel is close by. Evening staff was very good especially for as busy as she was.

Staff was great. Breakfast was good.The building is older. Our room smelled musty and wet. Came for a concert. If I would have done my research I would have stayed at the hotel next to where the concert was held. I would not stay for more than one day.

When we arrived for check-in the property was overbooked, extremely busy, only one person at the desk trying to take care of everyone. Rooms were not ready, including the first one they sent us to, so back downstairs to wait, and I’ve injured my back and not moving very well. It was quite warm and stuffy. People were being sent upstairs to have to go back downstairs (and no elevator) multiple times. The poor employee at the desk was doing her best, and some customers were quite rude to her. It is 10:09pm and we are just now getting settled. This has not been a pleasant experience, but we had to have a place tonight.

I counted ten hairs in my bath tub. Then checked my bed before getting it to find more hair and what looked like a small dead bug. That room was not cleaned Just made to look that way. When I went to front desk they moved me to another room but that room had full hand prints all over the head board from the previous guest fun activities and pillow without pillow covering was in the floor between lamp and recliner. Empty toilet paper roll. It was disgusting. Hanger on lamp.

It was a good stay. But something if you need a quick rest for the night if you are traveling and need a place last minute. For longer stays, it was alright but the wifi was not working. It would not let me connect at all even with the front desk's help. It was a decent stay overall since we mainly went out to explore and such. It was quiet for the most part.

A really good free breakfast for this class of hotel. Biscuits and waffles were excellent. Overall, clean and well maintained hotel for the price. I never stay in hotels over 75 dollars a night. The cons: The hallway and my room had a slight hint of an odor, maybe smoke. But it wasn't overpowering. Now, I hesitate to write this because I can't be 100% sure that room 103 at this hotel was the source, but around 24 hours after I checked out, I discovered several bites (itchy red welps) on my left arm.

We found the hotel lacking in cleanliness. There were stains on our sheet…or they were dirty. The hotel was shortstaffed, so we asked for a clean sheet set and changed them ourselves. The floors had not been vacuumed. The bedside tables had not been cleaned, toilet was not clean, dirty washcloth left on the tub surround. We were told there had been several housekeeping complaints the same night we were there. Hallways all needed to be vacuumed. Staff was courteous and our towels were clean but overall I would not stay there again.
