My check-in was quick and the person up front was very helpful. Upon getting my bags, I locked myself out of my room, and the front desk was awesome about it. They gave me a new key right away and were completely understanding. The room had everything I needed.
Lots of homeless staying there. BED BUGS and lice in room. When went to the front desk was told they have had a problem and he didnt believe me. I have the pictures. When i called was told pool was open but when i checked in was told it was broken.
We had a pet room and the smell of chemicals was so bad we were unable to stay in it. We tried a second pet room and knew right away that it was just as bad. They allowed us to use a non pet room and that was fine. The pet rooms were truly impossible to inhabit due to the chemical cleaners they used.
Secondly, there was a large homeless population behind the hotel and in some of the rooms. They were all polite, but some were definitely using some hard drugs. I recognize that there are very few options for the houseless population in the U.S., but it was unusual to be the only clients who were not clearly houseless.
After arrival there seemed to be a lot of people milling about the property. Not sure if there is a homeless community nearby or if they were staying at the inn as a shelter. The advertised pool and hot tub were condemned and closed by the health depart back in Oct 2024. My room smelled too strongly of carpet cleaner. There was a dead bug in the bath tub. The TV barely had channels and it was spotty coverage. The WiFi was spotty and slow, major lag. The parking lot had a RV that looked to have been there for over a year. People were coming and going from it. My room was on the third floor and there was not an elevator.
It was a rough night. I kept looking out the window(no screen on it) to see if anyone might be breaking into my vehicle. It’s hard to sleep if you think things might be missing in the morning.
I’m usually not picky when it comes to hotels. As long as I can rest my head, I’m good. However, during my stay, one of the staff randomly came in my room at 10:30PM. Granted he said it was an accident, but still a little unnerving.
Smelly. Pool closed. Outdated. Smoke alarm handing down and looses. Homeless motor home and two homeless cars in the parking lot. Wish I had paid a bit more to stay somewhere else.
It stunk and was filthy. Also the pool they advertised having was shut down by the health department over a year ago. We expected there to be a pool per what they advertised but learned different as we went to head upstairs and seen the notices from the health department.
