Clean but loud

Check in was an hour late because room wasn’t ready. Room and hotel were both extremely clean and beautiful. Staff was friendly. The room was very loud though. The room wasn’t very well built. You can hear all of the road noise even 17 stories up. There were teenagers in the hallways at well past midnight having a whole dramatic scene and we could hear every word for over 45 mins. Then there was a wreck just below us and that kept us up. Didn’t get a lot of sleep. View was amazing though.

Stayed here for my Birthday weekend to just “Relax” called ahead of time before booking to decide on which room I wanted. I paid “extra” for the Signature Room because I was told it had a complete view of the Bay and a fully stocked fridge with “Complimentary Water” and I few other things were offered. When we arrived in our room it had a slight corner view of the Bay and mostly downtown. The complimentary water had 1 water bottle in the fridge. When I asked to change rooms for a better view everything was booked! The Lady at the front desk checking in wasn’t knowledgeable about anything didn’t let us know anything or about parking fees we ended up paying $60 for parking for 2 nights! Didn’t know I had a free complimentary drink til leaving because again the front desk didn’t go over everything with us as other hotels do. She handed us the key and sent us on our way I only knew we were on 18th floor because I called upon booking, but she didn’t let us know. Turns out the only thing a signature room is a “High Rise 18th floor with key access” and that’s what you’re paying for. If I hadn’t already paid I would’ve left I stayed here to enjoy my birthday weekend and relax in the hotel. We ended up leaving during the day to get away because I was NOT happy here. The room was dirty. It smelled! The noise outside is loud and will keep you up at night! Especially because we were facing downtown instead of the water. Worst hotel Experience!
