CAREFUL of room placement - great staff
I'd give it a higher rating except for this - the 1st night, we had a corner room, overlooking both Shoreline Dr. and the road running between the Omni and the Federal courthouse - away from the historic Whataburger. The NOISE from motorcycles, cars, urban youth, was about the worst I've ever experienced, period. The gas station, a bit further from the waterfront, and b/t us and the fed. courthouse was banging until around 3:30 a.m. AWFUL noise. We moved the next day to a room looking towards W. Burger and less close to the Shoreline drag. The staff is awesome. The crab cakes at the bar on the 2nd floor are divine and I know my crab cakes.

The location is the best in Corpus and there is NO mold, every hotel except the Omni has mold in Corpus!

I had an uncomfortable stay at this hotel. The noise level was loud, with constant sounds of music, cars, and street activity throughout the night. On top of that, the AC unit kept shutting off every 10 minutes, making it incredibly hard to sleep in the heat.

Nice folks at check in. Slow restaurant service less than enthused staff in restaurant that was not busy. Limited menu but tasty food. Decent hotel but needs updating. Unfortunately our vehicle was vandalized in their parking ramp that we paid to park in. On duty worker took our information and we heard nothing more from hotel. Disappointing.

Communication between teams was very poor. Between noone answering room service. Guest services having to track them down, a 90 min wait for the shuttle, an hour wait for entrees at the restauarant and then on departure day again miscommunication on pick up where i had to request a 2nd time for pick up. The driver then spoke most of the way how women drivers are terrible and can only multitask if they are cooking and cleaning.
