My adult (special needs) son and I came to Corpus Christi originally for a fishing expedition (which got canceled), but we still had a terrific time. The hotel was doing major construction renovations that my son absolutely was delighted with... the front loader, the dump truck, the cement mixer was right up his alley. The workers were very respectful and did not start work until after 8 in the morning - this place is going to be spectacular once all of the work is completed. The beach was so close - we parked our vehicle and walked to everything. The USS Lexington and the Aquarium are just outside your back door... We took our dog with us and the restaurants were so accommodating - we loved Fajitaville, Pier 99, and Blackbeard's. The beds were so comfortable at the end of a long day. Would definitely recommend!

Would give more stars but on the first day only 1 bed was made the second not, complementary coffee was only 1 day from 3 day booking, yes the paper cups got replaced but no coffee. Towel we put on floor in bathroom hot hang up again and sorry it was dirty that why it end up on floor, great plus they fix the place up outside

Great location being walking distance to beach. View was just ok considering it was ocean view the restaurant being in front blocked a lot of the view. Landscaping definitely needs improvement. From the looks of the outside of building you might question the rooms but they are updated. Bed and pillows comfy, loved the large walk in shower. Overall great place to stay!

First thing is we drove about 3 hours away n tired and they said room was ready but they said we had to pay 25.oo to check in an hour early. BS!!! THEN, they wanted to charge $100.00 service charge for any destruction of property. No where did it say there was that charge. Never stay here again!!!

Very nice hotel. It is dated but they have tried to make it “look” newer on the inside. The king size bed in 104 absolutely SUCKS!! It has huge sink holes on both sides and boards trying to hold it up but pushes up higher on the mattress making it to where you will roll a little if you sleep in that section of the bed. No elevator bites.

They get a 5 star overall because pf comvenience. Walk to the beach. Short drive/walk to attractions. Food choices close by. Easy freeway access. North Beach is clearly on a rebound. The room was recentlyvremodelwd. 2 problems. Daily housekeeping didn't happen on a 3 night stay. Need someplace to wash the sand off of your feer before you go to the room.

Door needed to be Slammed when you closed it from the out side. floors were dirty and had not been swept or mopped. No outlets Next to the beds, super dim lighting. Walking up and down the stairs was tough also.

The view and location was great. The rooms were dirty when we checked in. Room had not been swept or moped prior to our arrival. Day 3 had to request housekeeping they came and change sheet/ towels, didn’t sweep or mop.day 4 request to have room swept and mopped and finally got it done. Stairs are no fun marching up and down 3 flights from the 2nd floor. Beds are worn down. 2 Stars.
