The rooms are old have plumbing issues, shower handle not working i had a screwdriver and fixed it. The curtin did not open. Also booked a high floor and bay view but got low floor and parking lot view.

Nothing impressive

The hotel room was small and outdated, the bathroom had peeling wall paper, a shower head that sprayed water EVERYWHERE, and there were obvious mold spots in the bathroom. In the hallways I witnessed a leaking/dripping fire sprinkler with a lot of corrosion built up and was dripping on the heads of the people waiting for the elevator. The hotel was in a beautiful location, can't beat the views, but it seemed run down, out of date, and in need of repairs.

Service review

My room was not very clean and I did ask for the room to be cleaned the next day, however, I am not sure that was done because I never received coffee cups to have coffee in my room in the morning. So I have to assume that it was not done. The bar food was very good, however, the service was lacking. Many times the employees would be out smoking when the bar would be full, and service was very slow and inconsiderate. I thought the breakfast bar was also a downer, however, some of the food tasted fine, the fact that the coffee was served in carafes at lukewarm temperature, I had to buy coffee from the coffee shop just to get a hot cup of coffee. In general, the breakfast bar was subpar at best, as well as the service. Lastly, wow this particular location is not very updated, I think the staff acted very nonchalant and service reflected that. I would however brag on one employee, he gets 5 stars, and that’s the maintenance man. He services the entire property and addressed my needs immediately by checking the air and bringing me a fan. He was the bright light to a poor experience.
