Process for getting a pool towel was inconvenient. I asked if my room was closer to front door or back door so I could park my car closest to it, and was told front, but my room was the furthest room from the front. After checking in, I walked all the way to my room, neither card key worked to open the door, so I had to walk all the way back with my bags for them to re-key it. The rear door wasn't well lit, and it felt a little unsafe at night.

Was a little worried when I saw other reviews here, but I didn't really have any problems. Granted, I went in November, so baseball tournaments going on. Only issue was first getting in the room. Had a stale smell, but I think no one had been in the room for a while. Ran thr AC, got some Febreze from the from desk. Problem solved... Best things were the breakfast ( lots of varieties) , and the shower was definitely better than mine at home - instantly hot, and nice pressure. Good deal for the price!

The hot breakfast was better than average with crispy bacon and well seasoned potatoes. Coffee was Folgers, if that matters to you. The rooms had a cheapness about them. On par for the price, so, it was fine.

I had a very nice stay at this BW. I enjoyed the pool, and the breakfast had an amazing amount of choices. The staff was pleasant. I have only two suggestions -- safety bars in the shower/tub, even in non assessable rooms, and a step stool as the beds are VERY HIGH, I pulled the upholstered chair over to use as a ladder, and the coffee maker was above my head, I'm 5'3" also so you could put wet towels on the shower bar since there are no towel bars in the bathroom.

We went for a quick visit to the Baseball HoF so we drove out Sunday to stay the night and see the Hall on Monday. It was clean, the help was friendly, and the breakfast was what you would expect at a Best Western, nothing fancy but hit the spot. If you want something more there is a McDonald’s in the parking lot. Good clean place to spend a night or two.

Free breakfast made it worth it. The hot tub didn’t work, plus it’s disconnected from the building they had booked me in so to get to the pool/ht,I would have had to walk in the cold to get to and from. Walkable to a grand Union and a very short drive to cooperstown. Also, wish the room was cleaner when we arrived. Decent for the cost value
