It's located in a very small town but nice eating out options. Staff was friendly and helpful and the townspeople were just welcoming. If you want to see the Northern section of Yellowstone National Park, this is the town to be in. Highly recommend Alpine motel for your stay.

Cooke City is a walk back in time, a very small, quaint mountain town with limited dining/shopping options and zero cell phone service. The only cell service was through the hotel's wifi, which worked fine. The ice machine wasn't working, so I had to purchase ice at a nearby gas station. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay here. Wish it could have been longer.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, room is small but we are only there to sleep, so that wasn’t an issue for us. The shower was absolutely fantastic, water will get hotter than we can stand ( which has never happened and was amazing), this would work great for the sledding folk, and shower had fantastic pressure. We loved it here and will definitely recommend

Alpine Motel is always a good choice when heading to Cooke City in the winter. When we arrived, the heater in our room wasn't working but the staff found a temporary solution and had the heater fixed quickly. Definitely a great choice when looking for a place to crash after a day of riding.

Manager (Chad) was quite friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed staying in Cooke City. It had a unique personality and was very convenient for getting to Lamar Valley. It’s a rustic little town, so if that’s not your thing, you probably wouldn’t like it. We will most likely stay at Alpine again.

We arrived late only to find the front office closed, but the staff had our keys to the room in the box marked "keys" by the front door. An employee of the hotel helped us with dining advice. We were told to park right next to our room and all was great.
