I opted for the king loft room for an extra six dollars per night. The bed is up 12 stairs, from a basic sitting room, and the bathroom was just inside the door. I was asked if I wanted housekeeping for the next morning, and I said that I guessed not. I didn't get any. The room was dated and needed minor repairs, like a bent curtain rod, and a few places where the formica was missing. Great restaurant next door, The Bistro. I was not able to take advantage of the breakfast, as there were fruit loops, raisin Bran, white bread, and bananas, but the bananas were unripe and I avoid gluten due to an intolerance. However it was quiet, very close to my mother-in-law's care home, and had lots of easy parking. It was great for what I needed, but not exactly a resort stay.

We have stayed here multiple times and it has been a great experience. The Japanese restaurant right at the hotel is convenient and tasty, too. There is also some other restaurants within walking distance.

Staff at check in was lovely and accommodating. I did find the room to have a strong smell to it though it seemed clean. One bed had some sort of stain on the outer blanket but the rest of the sheets were clean. Would stay again if I needed an budget option.
