The check in staff was very polite and I could tell that the property is in the process of renovation. So although my review may not be stellar I have high hopes for them. In the morning I had a hard time finding the staff for breakfast service help. The breakfast was not what I was accustomed to with the old LaQuinta I was used to. Hopefully Windom will make the improvements needed.

They are in the middle of a remodel. There were mattresses and furniture piled in the lobby, etc. The room was in desperate need of the remodel. The worst part was the old ripped carpet was sticky. The staff was effecient and friendly. The breakfast was good.

I came in around noon to pick up keys since I was in the area and front desk wanted to charge me $30 early check in! I’ve stayed in many hotels in the past that would never charge a fee! My a/ c was very loud the entire time. Front desk was definitely not happy to be there. Bed was comfortable and breakfast was decent. I think with all the construction they should probably be offering better rates and stop being greedy with fees.

First the good ... The front desk staff was friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and well maintained. Breakfast was fresh and tasty, with a good variety of options for people with different dietary needs. The location was convenient to where I needed to be. There was an issue with water in the hallway because another guest had dripped a lot of water from the pool to the elevator, and the staff got that cleaned up quickly after I let them know about it Negatives ... The hallways were hot and uncomfortable (although the room temp was fine). The room was not well soundproofed, so there was a lot of noise from the hallway in the mornings (and being right next to the elevator added to that). The shower took a long time to get to a comfortable temperature - we actually thought there was no hot water at first, but it did warm up part of the way through the shower. Overall, it was a good place and I'd stay there again. I would just ask to be put in a room farther from the elevator.

Well….i have traveled all around the USA. So last night was ☹️ miserable. After attending a wedding and needing to sleep……I came home to people next door in 206….loud, laughing, hitting the bed rail against the wall, talking, etc…etc…etc. so no sleep….till wee hours of this morning. THEN you will never guess what happened…..at 9:15 this am…..the mail knocked on our door to clean the room…I wanted to scream but didn’t. Finally went to sleep and now woke up. Surely u have a more sophisticated system to se if we Cheked out or not.😱 not a good a good experience at all..it was the worse. And I paid $$170 for this? Horrible😫 Horrible, horrible.

Staff was very cordial. Room was great, except couch was not very comfortable if you tried to set and watch a show. The rooms above and below our room were a little noisy. ie people yelling and slamming doors next to us, and the other side had the ice machine where people came and got ice, slamming the door when leaving, and then the room above us sounded like an elephant walking around. I don't thin my wife got a full night sleep anyday we were there. From 9:30 to 1 am, and then people waking up at the crack of dawn.
