Staff was good - but 1st room issued to us on third floor turned us off. We complained and they immediately got us another room on 2nd floor. We had opened the door and immediately saw dead bugs as we entered thru the door. Then looking the room over - continued seeing lots of dead bugs. We thought they were cockroaches- but they said they were crickets. The staff on duty apologized and said he would get us another room immediately. But after seeing that it made us feel very uncomfortable in the other room also! If it is a bad infestation- and the rooms may have been sprayed- since the bugs were dead - the management needs to make sure the rooms are ok before sending guests to them. This should never had happened!

There were a number of physical things that needed repair. Curtain rips. Pool area. Dragging bathroom door. Clean trash off roofs where quests can see from room windows. Counter in bathroom is loose. Improve quality of breakfast. Thanks.

When we arrived late at night we were told there was no hot water, but it was better from the day before. They said it was luke warm but it was not. Our tv was out the whole 2 days we were there, they said they would see if they could call and get someone out, never heard from them about the matter again. Thermostat needed a battery, luckily you could adjust on the unit itself. The outside of the hotel was nice but nothing was being done to correct any of the items that were wrong.

East check-in but curtains were broken so we could not open and close them properly. One lamp was missing the light bulb. The breakfast bar was well stocked but the eggs, sausage and coffee were all cold. Won't be staying here again. This was NOT up to Holiday Inn's usual standards!

The property was ok, a little run down. The staff was very nice. The room we were in was very big but even though there were two window units in the room it could not cool down. There was also hairs on the shower walls which to me means it was not cleaned well. Will probably not stay here again.

Over all the room looked very nice , clean, comfortable pillows and mattress. But, there was a trickle of pee on the toilet seat which the clerk had cleaned/sanitized immediately. Breakfast had eggs, sausage (turkey and pork), pancakes, lots of breads and muffins and cereals and some fruit and yogurt. But, nothing for someone who is sensitive to wheat or to milk products. Bring your own! No oatmeal or alternative milks available. Maybe small town Holiday inns are like that? The staff was amazing.
