Booked and pre paid for a 3 night stay. I didn't make it to the hotel on first day of my planned stay, next day they don't have room for me. Hotel took money for the first night and sold my room to someone else. I did get a refund for my other 2 nights but had to call around to get it. IF I PREPAY FOR A ROOM THEN THAT SHOULD BE MINE WHETHER I'M IN IT OR NOT. The is nothing but a scam. If I didn't check in on time then dont charge me or have my room available to me since its pre paid.

I have two pages of things that we experienced during our stay. Everything from poor and unresponsive customer service to nothing worked. Property appears to be falling apart literally. I plan on contacting the GM and writing a letter.

While the property looked nice like every other Hampton Inn, this weekend felt like a comedy of errors. The pool was closed for renovations, despite someone having called to ensure it would be open. One of the elevators was broken. The remote in the room didn't work well. And to top it all off, MANY cars had windows smashed and things stolen out of them Friday night. I know of 6 cars personally, I think the number was higher than that. The hotel staff said this was an ongoing problem.

For the two days I spent there, the toilet was malfunction. The first night water was running all night but would not stay in the toilet tank disturbing my sleep. I had to turn off the entire pipe going to the tank. Next day maintenance came rould 11:30 AM. I was told at 4 pm it was fixed but it wasn’t. I tried to use the bathroom around 7 pm, flushed it, and there was no water coming through. The pipe was turn to on but no water still comingthrough. Front office said they will let maintenance know again. I had to use the trash can to collect water from the shower to flush the bathroom. This is unacceptable.

Okay, but a little problem

The room, etc. was great. the only issue was the lights were out in one of the elevators and the control panel fell off of the wall as the elevator was decending from the 2nd to the 1st floor. I blocked the door with a cart, and reported it to the front desk, the maintenance man put the panel back up, but the lights were still out when I left on Saturday morning.
