The whole place, even our room, smelled like smoke. We had reservations for a king bed, instead we got two queen beds in a handicapped room. We were not happy. They said the hotel was full so they couldn't give us the room we reserved online.

Room 203 has a lot of very loud noises from the elevators. You can hear ears elevator when it goes up and down, in the morning the sound turned to a loud squeak or whistle. Luckily it didn’t get really bad till 6 am when we got up.

The elevators were in need of repair and made a very loud noise during operation. They said they would should it down at 8:00 pm but it was after 10:00 before they did. In addition, the carpet in the room was very dirty,stained and sticky. Will not be staying here again.

We enjoyed staying at the Isle of Capri in Boonville on our recent getaway. The location and its proximity to the downtown was perfect. We walked on the Katy Trail, around downtown Boonville and to The Frederick for dinner. We will stay here again in the future.
