A Hidden Gem

Great location away from town.Right off highway 54 Mexico Mo.Clean pool. Hotel is on the outskirts of town and surrounded by prairie and fields.Fresh air.

Lori, Amanda & Cash were the best. Friendly, Accommodating, and Respectful During our stay, we witnessed the owner berate the staff and curse at a client. If it weren't for the staff, I would give this hotel no stars, and the Owner should know not to treat people that way!

The hotel is way outdated dirty and the driveway/parking lot is full of huge potholes They dont offer breakfast anymore and the hot tub has been out of service for years Pool was gross looking But the front desk lady was really sweet

The service took forever to get checked in even though i booked earlier then just arriving. I was charged by the 3rd party and the hotel, also was hit with a 100 cash deposit. Which 9.32 was returned. When entering the room we noticed there was no fitted aheet on the bed, no plug for the jacuzzi tub, as well as no remote for the tv, Had to wait over an hour for a remote to be brought to the room. Later we noticed trash in the drawers for our clothes, and while showing we noticed some stains all over the wash cloths.

The room was not clean. No telling how long since the carpet had been vacuumed. There were two large spiders in the shower. And there was no blanket on the bed at all. A sheet and the comforter, which is usually the dirtiest thing in the room because they're never washed.

When checking in was given a queen bed. My reservation was for a king size bed. The room needed deep cleaned!! My husband got out of bed and cut his leg on the bed. We purchased food for 2 nights placed in frig and found out it wasnt working. So food went bad. Hall way smelled of weed, pool was down. Definitely will not return.

I should have read more reviews before I booked. Room key would not work, replaced and then did not work later. Door handle hanging and looked as if it had been kicked a few times. TV would not turn on, no batteries in remote, got new batteries, still would not work. TV would not even work even manually without remote. Refrigerator plugged in and on but not working. Toilet plugged upon arrival, I was too afraid to complain so I used the one in the lobby. Shower would not drain and I took a shower in ankle-deep water. Burn holes and rips in bedspread. No mattress pad, just a thin non-fitted sheet directly over the mattress. Room furniture very rough, scratched and beat up. Property generally very rough. Housekeeping carts in the hall in the late afternoon...one with a pack of cigarettes on it. Several room doors open in the afternoon. All outside doors never locked at night...I didn't feel safe. I parked my car well away from my room and near the entrance and security cam as I was afraid it would be broken into. Parking lot extremely deteriorated. In general, the property looks like it could have been abandoned if didn't have a reservation. Positive points: staff very friendly, room was unkempt but not filthy as reported in other reviews. I got my deposit back without a hassle like other folks that reviewed. I pride myself in staying at budget properties to save a buck, but this one crossed the line. Definitely not a place to stay with children. My advice is book elsewhere.

Beware of owner

Everything was good I usually pay for Monday and Tuesday in one reservation and then extend my stay for Wednesday and Thursday nights. Unfortunately my check did not go into my account till 9:30pm but they didn’t run my card till the next morning and they took $20 out of my $50 deposit. On top of that the owner has kept my deposit for almost a month last month I did not complain about it. Figured the owner would understand my situation. The staff was great it’s just the owner that’s awful, even the staff said so. I will not use this hotel again.
