It's a good location. This was my 2nd stay. The 1st wasn't bad. Staff is horrible. I didn't eat the breakfast after the 1st morning. No cups / glasses in the rooms. TV remote batteries were dead. TV is about 18 inches and at lousy -- e.g. pre-HD broadcast resolution. Window did not open at all. I will never stay there again, and will do what I can to prevent others from staying there.

I believe I might’ve been the only guest staying there that night. Place could definitely use a remodel. It is a prime location.I slept well, shower was great. It was clean. And price was right.

Pleasantly surprised at the condition of a beach front hotel. It might be a little worn, but it was clean and comfortable. Beautiful views and for bike fest, being able to see the stage from inside our room? Awesome.

Older hotel right on the beach with side window views. No balcony on the river but exterior benches on the parking lot side. Direct access to the board walk. Decent breakfast. Good stay, basic hotel with modest amenities. Great location for a low key beach setting.

Thought the rooms were extremely dated, including the bed. also dirty, took off our white "Footies" and it was black. our friends staying there had the same experience. no cups in room & ice machine broken. The price of the room was very expensive, I stayed in a very nice hotel in Schaumburg, Ill for 3 days for what the Rivers Edge charged for 1 night... off season

Have stayed there several times but this time it was so run down and dirty. Lots of duct tape holding things together. Sadly, won't be going back unless they make some improvements.

The property had an amazing view of the Potomac river. It was very clean. The hotel furniture was well worn. But the view made everything great. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The best feature of this property was its proximity to the Potomac river. When you come out of the office, you can see the Potomac river outside their door. This was the best feature of the property. The property was clean. The furniture was worn, but the view was amazing.

The hotel needs some serious updating. Considering its proximity to the beach, it was disappointing. Linens were thin and subpar. Slivers of soap for personal hygiene and one tiny bottle of shampoo. Visible water stains on the ceiling in the hallway and tired carpet. Even though the hotel was non-smoking, outside of the stairwell doors and the lobby, people were smoking. They could at least have people smoke away from the premises.
