We enjoyed our stay at the Manadrina. The staff were friendly, professional and helpful and it was great to have a restaurant on site. Rooms were comfortable. The buffet breakfast had a good international selection but it would have been nice to have a larger selection of fruit. The service for fresh egg dishes probably needed more staff to better cope with demand. Overall a great stay and would stay here again

Great property which is close to main sites in colombo, many food options, beach, and rooftops. The room was clean and spacious. The gym is however really small and the rooftop view was somewhat blocked by the co are ton in front! Great hotel for the price however! My only reason for a 4 star is that this feels more like a 4 star hotel than a 5 star.

Pictures advertised did not match reality with hotel. Room facing the street was extremely noisy. There was also work going on in our floor which did not help with the noise so asked to change room. Carpet in hallway looked dirty and run down. Pool are did not look at all like in the picture.

This is our absolute favourite place to stay in Colombo and maybe even Sri Lanka. For the price you get an upscale hotel with all the amenities. The rooms are a nice size, beds and pillows comfortable, the shower is lovely and the pool is nice and refreshing. We always opt for the breakfast buffet and we have eaten in the restaurant for supper on a few occasions. We are always impressed with the selection and effort made by the kitchen. We had an upgrade to a king deluxe room due to our Expedia VIP status and had a lovely view of the ocean and the work being done around the neighbouring buildings. We also were able to have a late checkout so we could enjoy the Mandarina as long as possible. My only requests would be to have the drinking water provided in the rooms in reusable glass bottles and to not put wheat flour in the hoppers! Disappointing when you have a wheat allergy, but I'm happy to eat the kiribath instead. We always recommend the Mandarina!
