It takes about 10 minutes to walk along the river bank before reaching the city centre. It is acceptable for people fond of hiking to wander on the cobblestones surrounding the hotel and air is exceptionally fresh. The room was surprisingly neat and tidy. It would be perfect if the bathing closet did not leak on the bottom area. Some water might need to dry away before bathing as otherwise water would accumulate on the bathroom floor. Pillow provided was a pillow cover filled with a small blanket instead of pillow cotton. Overall speaking, the stay was impressive.

Very nice hotel. A difficult walk from Central station with luggage. I had 2 reservations with different rooms. My forst room 114, I would not recommend. Noisy, shower that leaked into toilet. The 2nd room was terrific. Based on my second room I would definitely recommend, with the knowledgw that the walk with luggage can be a challenge. Staff was great.

Brilliant hotel, great location
What a brilliant hotel, very modern and clean . It was in a perfect location. A short walk from Koln HBF, you're right in the mix of bars and restaurants on the Rhine. It is right next to the iconic coloured buildings. We will be coming back to stay here again in the future.

Despite an issue about the room location-website misadvertising, reception staff (sharnice?- & George?), were great at sorting it out for us. We have friends who live around 5 minutes from the hotel, so it was a great location for them and the river. VERY clean hotel. Lovely view. Everything we needed. Will definitely be back next year.

Visiting friends who live 5 minutes from the property. Had slight mishap with room booking initially but staff sorted it out for us and were fantastic. Hotel is VERY clean & tidy. Stayed for 3 nights. Quite small but has everything you need and is located right in the heart of Cologne by the Rhine. There are so many places to eat and sights to see within walking distance. The safe in our room didn’t work, there was a stain on one of the decorative pillows and the AC wasn’t amazing but it was very hot, 30+ degrees.

Room was small but as expected so not surprised by this. Room was clean and comfortable. Bathroom was clean, a bit small but was fit for purpose. Water was not provided every day as advertised, but I also didn't request any. Made aware that breakfast was unavailable on arrival, alternative of pastries and coffee did the job. Saturday night in a city view room was quite loud from the neighbouring bars, but didn't keep me awake. Staff were friendly and helpful, no complaints there.

Room was extremely compact but clean and good air conditioning. No hot water on final morning throughout but apologised & were aware of fault. Location is excellent. No breakfast facilities available. Room was beside housekeeping facilities so extremely noisy in morning.

Overall, we had a great experience with the hotel; staff was incredibly helpful. The room was clean and had a nice view of the river. The area is within walking distance to almost everything including many dining options. However, it gets a little noise with night life.
