I’ll start with the good. The room, bathroom, and linen were clean. The breakfast was suitable. Choices were toast, waffles, 2 types of cereal, oatmeal packages, yogurt, fruit, 2 juices, tea and coffee. Check in/out was easy and painless. We encountered 2 friendly and helpful staff, the rest not so much. It is centrally located to many things. Tons of parking.
The not good. Hot tub is closed permanently. Didn’t even have water. The pool was closed and there was no notification that it was closed until we saw the sign. Nothing posted on their website or on orbitz. Don’t claim to have an indoor pool if it isn’t available for use. I looked back through reviews and it seems to have been closed for some time now. There is no where to sit in the room or lobby to eat. We traveled with 2 adults and 2 children in one room. They closed the breakfast area after breakfast and lock the doors. We had to beg to allow us in to eat so we wouldn’t have to eat in our room on the beds. The first person refused. Luckily a nice front desk worker came on shift as our food got there and allowed us to eat there. The heater stopped working our last morning there and we woke up to a freezing room. Since it was our last hours there we didn’t bother asking to swap rooms. Instead we checked out and left early. They refused to give us a copy of our deposit receipt that they make you put down and sign for. The room/hotel is not worth the little money you save booking there.
