The night worker acted like i was bothering her when i was checking in. I had a couple of questions and she seemed upset that i was asking her anything. The stay came with a breakfast but they didnt have much and the main thing was the pancake machine but it was broken

Beginning in the entrance you can see signs of wear and tear around. We got there around 2 and footstools or seats were on the tables. The front lady was just sitting there so honestly she could have put them down. The elevator clearly needed a wipe down and the floors needed to be vacuumed leading up to the room. Our room itself needed a clean and wipe down. There was still hair ties from the previous guests in there and the batteries to the remote were dying. I could hear the guests next to us all night as well. Overall I don’t think it’s somewhere I would recommend

AC unit barely was barely working. It wouldn’t kick when turned down on cool, it was just doing its own thing turning on/off whenever it pleased. 4th floor and the room had a smell to them. It smelled kind of old, it’s almost like mold smell but couldn’t put my finger on it. Complimentary coffee was straight water. Can’t cheap out on the coffee, come on guys. I stayed at Tru multiple times, and I love them truly. I don’t know what happened to the company in the last few years.

Economical, so no expectations really.
The first night was great. However, on the second night, the guests above me must have been obese because they were stepping all over the place until about midnight. I didn't sleep well because of that. There were other noises around as well from the hallway at night.

Some good some bad
Online app checking and digital key were great. Bed, pillows, TV , towels, were great, elevators were fast. Walls were thin, could hear snoring from the next room. No parking, had to park in a bad spot next to someone who parked over the line, because it was the last spot available. Breakfast was the deal breaker. Arrived at 9:42am with 18 minutes left. No orange Juice, no spoons, no meat (sausage), only 2 pieces of wheat toast, no other bread types (biscuit, bagel, english muffin), nothing left. No pancakes. I think there were apples, but no bananas or oranges. For the coffee, there was no french vanilla creamer left.

The front desk staff was nice and lobby seemed clean. Unfortunately, the floor in our room was not clean, there was mold in the shower, and stains on some of the sheets. The room was quite small for 4 people to get around in and the temperature of the room was hard to control. There was a tapping noise every morning between 6 and 7 am that we could hear through the wall. Almost sounded like water dripping, but it was too loud. Also did not realize the property allowed pets. There was a very loud barking dog in the room a few doors down from ours. Will not stay here again.

Floors were filthy. I spilled water and wiped it up with a towel and it was black! Gross. For $200, there was no coffee maker in the room and not even a single bottle of water. By 10:00 am there was no coffee in the lobby either. Outrageous. Seriously.
