Gives the hotel name La Quinta Inn a bad rep.

Chose this hotel because of the name. I’ve stayed in other La Quinta Inn hotels and they’ve all been very nice and wonderful places to stay. This was a one night stay while working in town. The elevator looked like there was a shooting or fight that had occurred from the dents all over the walls. The room itself was not very clean. There were bottles of products under the sink area. The shower was mildew/moldy. The curtains were stained. The chair was stained. The blanket was stained. At breakfast there was old food that no one wanted in the warmers because it was not fresh or being replenished at 9:00. The milk was gone. There was no cream cheese for a bagel. The waffle station was covered in batter that was spilled all over the irons and counters. Empty cups were left and no one was around to clean or take care of anything. The water in the shower was at best warm. Not even hot. Sometimes cold. Over all just a poor place to stay.

If price is all that matters, ok. Else steer clear

We stayed in this hotel 1 year ago and it was adequate. This year it was totally run down. Only 1 elevator was working - terrible for a hotel with over 100 rooms. The meeting hall next door was condemned. The pool, albeit early in the season, looked filthy. Hallways were dirty. Furniture and fixtures were run down. Carpets worn out. Our room was smelly. The beds were comfortable. The staff at the front desk were totally distracted as the police were there when we arrived (not sure why). Did not eat breakfast (not sure what was there).

Police were outside everyday. Banging on rooms all night. Hallways dirty and smelled like Marijuana day and night. Scared to go out at night because of the people hanging out around the property. Just not a good experience at all. Room was old and falling apart

It was the cigarette and weed smell everything in the corridor and room and they have covered the smell with some room fresheners which only last 30 minutes and then you have to live with that

I was given a room with a broken shower A random man came to door; “I have a work order to fix broken shower “. I went to check shower Not working Returned to door he was gone WHY WAS A I GIVEN A ROOM WITH BROKEN PLUMBING. “You need to maneuver” No I don’t You need to give your customers a working shower.

It was really dirty. Like dirty, dirty. The rooms were spacious, the location was okay (despite some of these reviews) and staff was nice but overall the place as really run down. While we didn’t see any, the reviews talking about bugs are very believable. I did find fingernails next to the bed/nightstand…clearly not vacuumed properly.

Got the suite and the pull out couch didnt work

Not clean, ice maker didnt work, pull out couch didnt work, looked like there needs to be some update work as the plugs were coming out of the walls, lastly the elevator did not seem safe. We took the stairs most of the time.

I will never escape this odor

Room smelled strongly of carpet shampoo, strong enough to make our eyes water. Never went away, even after hours of running A/C with door open. One elevator broken, the other rickety and slow. Ice machine on odd floors, with 5th floor broken and water leaking on all floors. Beeping noises everywhere as if fire alarms need batteries. Cameras on every corner. Breakfast area loud and messy. Overflowing trash cans. No syrup for waffles. No hot chocolate. Large toilet, but low pressure. Good shower pressure, but door was broken. Suite was roomy, beds comfortable. But it's two days later and my clothes still smell.

The bathroom was extremely dirty with black mold covered corners, the shower head didn’t work properly, there was no start pressure , I had to wash hair in the sink because there was no way that long haoe will get washed in that shower that was about like pee stream power. When we came in lobby smelled like skunks because someone was smoking weed in the the lobby. Elevator is so dirty and stinky , unbelievably. Breakfast extremely poor no even a single fruit or yogurt. Well, that’s like okay, you get what you pay for, but how dirty it is , ridiculous !
