For a budget motel it was great. The bed was comfortable, the sheets were clean and there was hot water. May I add I have stayed at places for twice the price and there was no hot water

When we arrived someone was asking for their money back and had already been moved once due to yucky moist carpets. One of the people we were with who had a reservation wasn't allowed to check in because they said he was banned from all Motel 6's but had not explanation as to why and when they called the corporate office, they couldn't answer either. Our carpet was moist and gross and I wore shoes the whole time.

Worst room ever

We were given a handicapped accessible room even though we did not ask for it. There was no place to hang our clothes. There was no mini fridge or microwave in the room, which struck me odd because many people needing those types of accommodations have medication that requires refrigeration. The beds were old and had springs that were collapsed and poked into your back. The floors were dirty and the bathroom fixtures were rusty and old. There was no water pressure in the bathroom sink. The shelf over the sink was falling off the wall and kept the faucet from functioning properly. This room is the worse we’ve ever had and they should be ashamed to rent a room with that lacks such minimal yet expected conveniences.

Property owner clearly doesn’t care to reinvest in the property. Most things were broken, a cat had clearly liven in the room as the ottoman was all clawed up. Towels, I’d say we’re 160 grit. There was a a fist hole in the back of the bathroom door but it was available and what do you expect from Motel 6?

I first got a room that had at least 10 garbage bags in the room. U went back to the office and they gave me a new room. My new room had a broken lock and the heater didn’t work (it was 49 degrees that weekend). My last time there.

Not cleaned... or not cleaned well

Customer service was great. They allowed us to leave luggage prior to check in. The allowed us to leave luggage after checkout. The location was good being 2 blocks from public access to the beach. Also walking distance from fast food and sit down restaurants as well as a grocery store. The low stars for this review revolve directly around sanitation. The floors hadn't been cleaned and were sticky. The room smells of smoke (even though it was supposed to be a non-smoking room). When we turned on a lamp near the bed there was a distinct weed smell (like an oil) on the knob. There was mold growing in the bathroom. We found a live adult cockroach and killed it. There was sand on the covers when we first went into the room. There was only a single towel and a single pillow when we first got into the room. 1 of the 2 available wall outlets was broken. I have pictures of everything if needed.
