I checked into Room 512 at 8:31 PM on May 23, 2025. By 11:30 PM, I was forced to check out after discovering numerous serious issues with the room, including:
Soiled bedding, including multiple hairs on the pillows and sheets
Stains on the pillowcases
Couch pillows that appeared to have bodily fluids on them (semen), based on the visible staining
Debris on the back of the couch
Excessive dust and grime on the tables, indicating the room had not been cleaned at all
When I requested clean bedding, a staff member delivered sheets but stated she was off duty and had only been told to drop them off—meaning I was expected to strip and remake the bed myself. She then mentioned that the room may not have been cleaned because the cleaning crew was recently terminated, and new staff were still getting acclimated. This is both unprofessional and deeply troubling, especially from a hotel that presents itself as a higher-end property.
To make matters worse, I was offered Room 1012 as an alternative—an obvious downgrade from the King Suite I had paid for. The replacement room was a wheelchair-accessible suite that lacked the large soaking tub and panoramic views included in my original reservation. The layout was much more confined and did not reflect the experience I booked or paid $1,150 for.
This experience was more than just inconvenient—it was unacceptable. My fiancé and I had spent time and energy planning this weekend and didn’t even end up staying cause of all this.
