Worst hotel-Not your ordinary holiday inn.

Hotels.com should remove this from the list of hotels or warn customers. I had a terrible stay here ( April 3-5, 2025). I checked in at midnight and came to know that they don’t have their own self parking garage. Valet parking was $42 dollars almost 1/3 of the room rate. This is ridiculous! I will never come here again. I was forced to take it as the Valet guy said nearby public garage may or may not have space and is about 10 minute walk and does not have in and out privileges. I did not want to risk it at midnight with homeless folks running around. When we entered the room, it was spacious with tall ceilings ( that’s why it deserves the one star). But the floors were dirty and when I took my socks off and stepped out for a few steps to get into slippers, the floor was sticky! Whew! Disgusting… Then in the bathroom, there was no body lotion in that small container (Dove brand). It was literally empty no matter how I squeeze it. The phone was broken and I could not call the front desk. It had different room number written on it. There was no safe locker. The deadbolt was broken. The whole room and entry foyer felt like some 1800s home. When I saw the mattress, I could already see the depressions and When I rested on it it reaffirmed my doubts about the quality. I literally sinked in for 3-4 inches! It was the worst bed I slept on any name brand hotels in the last 15-20 years. Motel 6 beds were better when I used to stay there when I was a student.

VALET NEEDS WORK IN THE EVENINGS

Valet in the evening needs more than one person. Could not locate them because they were next door at the restaurant or no one simply knew where they walked off to. When they returned to the station they were asked by another staff (don’t know if he was staff or not because he was watching videos on his phone sitting at the booth). The valet that came back response was “no, I walked somewhere”! Now if he is the only one parking and retrieving cars and if he is not doing either then he should be at his post! Other than waiting for 20 minutes upon returning to get my car parked, may stay was ok!

Can't recommend this Hotel

The hotel is in decline. It was very dirty from our room to common areas. Sheets were dirty so we requested room service. Showerhead needed replaced and toilet ran constantly. Front desk check-in was very poor. She seemed annoyed to put down her phone to check us in. Breakfast buffett was good and the nice lady who cooked it and talked to us was sweet.

i was charged an extra 100 dollars (50 for each night) because of the card i used. the lady at the check in said id get the 100 dollars back after 30 days. 30 days has passed and ive only received 10 dollars back. even more, i payed extra for a city view room and i did not have a city view room. rain was coming in through the windows. i want my additional 90 dollars back and some compensation for false advertising

Our room was wonderful, the continental breakfast was good the kind most serve. Check in and out was quick. We got dropped off so I dont have any reviews on the valet parking. It is a bit much to charge for parking and parking is limited. There are a few lots that are cheaper than alot of the parking decks though. The hotel is housed in an historic building. It has beautiful architecture. Our room was a corner room with a nice view. It was spacious and the bed was comfortable. We splurged for the jetted tub and were not disappointed. The bathroom had a large walk in shower. And of course microwave coffee maker and mini fridge.

We are repeat visitors. The property has had minimal improvements over ten years. The shower was annoyingly strong, the tub stopper didn't work, the TP was installed poorly, there were few electrical outlets, no USB ports. Poor ventilation. Bring charger. The breakfast area was improved.
