The only thing that I did not like about this property was the staff. I told them I booked my room with Expedia and they tried to convince me that I needed a deposit although Expedia told me I did not then when I explained that to them, they said that I need to give them $150 cash I said no you can use the card that I have on file or I would contact Expedia and they said they would waive the fee. I find this extremely sketchy and very uncomfortable because they were trying to pressure me to give them cash.

It's A Place
It was definitely a place to stay. It won't blow you away, but it shouldn't appall you either. Management clearly is not trying to make this place special, but it looks like they're trying to make it adequate, and they are succeeding. Cleanliness was fine. We were comfortable. Bed was good, tv worked, wifi was fine, shower was a little weird but okay. Handy location. If you like bacon and eggs, the breakfast will suit you. If you don't, there are bananas. We would stay again.

Shady business!!!
Upon checkin the front desk employee asked me if I was aware of the $150 cash deposit. I said no and asked her if it was stated when I booked online. She said it doesn’t say anything about it in the online booking. I told her I don’t have $150 on me. She said I would need to make the deposit. It was a debacle. They ended up letting me forgo the $150 cash deposit. That night I asked another guest if they were asked to pay the same depot- no. I asked a second quest the next morning if they weee asked to pay the $150 deposit- no. Best western in ELYRIA is a scam and shady!!!!

Great place to stay
We were a late arrival and was greeted by the most pleasant staff. Our room was clean with all the comforts of home. The hot breakfast was delicious with many choices. There are plenty of shopping opportunities near by. We'll definitely be staying here again the next time we're passing through.

The stay was very good. The staff, evening and breakfast, were very excellent. Did not interact with the day staff. Room was clean and neat. I would stay here again when I’m in the area again
