Just needed a place to sleep for a few hours before hitting the road across Texas. Very comfortable bed, pillows and it was sooooo quiet. Pets are welcome and you will get that wake up call of barking dogs but they didn't make a peep through the night.

Pool out of service, no decrease in price of room.

It was a cute hotel but the problem was they charged their highest price because of the long weekend, but their pool wasn't even running so it was very disappointed. I would've got a cheaper hotel had I known nothing was mentioned when I contacted the hotel prior to booking. They do have a really good breakfast though, but cheap blankets and pillows.

The bathroom ( accessible ) was huge…very well appointed and clean. The tub had lots of grab bars and for my first time ever, it had a rubber bathtub mat. I’m always worried about falling….I usually wet a hand towel and throw it in the tub. I think the linens were scratchy ,but the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was being cooked on premise. It was good and the lady in charge was very gracious and helpful. They do need to add salsa to the daily menu.

When I walked in, the girl and the front desk didn’t acknowledge me. They know that you are at their mercy, because they are the only game in town. Everything closes at 8 and maybe 2 restaurants in the area. Let’s talk about breakfast in the hotel. There was a spoon placed on top of the eggs, bacon, and sausage. The hostess saw it because she saw it and did nothing about it. My husband usually eats a hearty breakfast. But that morning, he had yogurt. We also had to go across the street to get coffee. The staff in this hotel did not seem motivated at all. Please avoid this hotel if you can along with the town.
